Car rental hire – There are 2 schools of thought when visiting Cap d’Agde resort regards whether or not to rent a car. The first is that you can then not to have to worry about airport transfers and will be able to explore outside of the resort i.e. to the vineyards etc. The 2nd school of thought is that once inside the resort you will have everything you need and do not need a car for your whole stay. If you do need rental car hire then Thrifty is who I normally use.
Beziers Cap d’Agde International Airport – is the closest airport to the resort and served mostly by Ryanair. It is roughly 20 minutes drive from the resort and A2A Taxis offer airport transfers to and from the resort to Beziers airport.
Montpellier International Airport – is the largest airport serving Cap d’Agde and is roughly 45 minutes drive away from the resort. Montpellier airport is connected with many large cities worldwide and thus a significant number of airlines service this airport (too many for us to list here).

If you live in a location such as London, Dubrovnik, Munich, Bastia, Faro, Geneva, Tenerife or Rome (and some other European cities),. a direct flight to Toulouse might be the best option.
The Beach Hut – A highly entertaining love story set by the beach (involving a beach hut as the title suggests).
I found this a well written and enjoyable book with some great characters. Great summer reading as you lay on the beach at Cap d’;Agde!
Last Days of the Bus Club – The latest book from Chris Stewart following on from his book ‘Driving Over Lemons’ which was a great read. Chris moved to southern Spain with his wife and children and through his writing, tells the story of his battles coming to terms with living in rural Spain.
If you have ever thought about moving to a place in the sun, you should love this book.
The Elephant Whisperer – Anthony Lawrence always writes dramatic stories about his real-life experiences as the owner of a safari lodge in Africa. In this latest book he talks about his experiences and interactions with the elephants, whilst several sub-stories run such as the continuous battles with the local poachers.
