The History of 02 Bizoux
[Update Oct 2023 – the bar has changed hands again and has a new name]
02 Bizoux (previously known as Jonny Wokkers Bar until Jonny sold up), is run by Lauren and Miguel, and from my experience, they are a friendly couple who provide a warm welcome.
The bar now provides food in the form of tapas by the way!
This is still a popular base for British holidaymakers to network and to meet up!
Who Uses 02 Bizoux Bar
Given that before becoming 02 Bizoux that it the focal point for British travelers and visitors to the resort, there are still many British visitors who still frequent the bar.
The bar is quite a popular British bar which is a regular meeting spot for many of our Cap d’Agde Facebook Group.
Given that the owners are French, they have now understandably put some emphasis on French customers also, such as with a very French food service.
So now expect many British and french clientele, and areal mix from other countries including Russia, Sweden, Holland, Italy, and Canada.
Facilities and 02 Bizoux
The bar is not particularly big but it is a very handy and quite a good place to grab a drink and it has its own sun terrace which is perfect for afternoons and people watching.
The sun terrace for many people is its selling point and the reason to grab a drink in the afternoon or early evening.
Sitting on the sun terrace at 02 Bizoux is an especially popular choice when leaving the beach for many English-speaking visitors.
It is also open late so a good place in the late evenings.
The bar is located in a partly covered tunnel at the end of Port Nature, close to the beach and directly opposite one of the best restaurants in the resort, Le Mississippi.
The bar also gets very busy and lively in the late evenings and stays open past midnight (and normally opens around 2-3 pm in the daytime).
There is sometimes live music on in the main bar downstairs some summer evenings but the main focus of 02Bizoux is the chance to drink and meet other fellow visitors in that it can be a good place to meet others.
This really is probably the best bar or pub in the resort for most easily meeting other people.

- Opening Times: The bar tends to open from around 3 pm through to 2 am, 7 days a week.
- Season time: Usually opens from April and open on certain days but come the main season in May then expect the bar to be open 7 days a week through to mid-September.
- Food: Food is now served in 02Bizoux and comes in the form of various snacks that you can eat on a table on the terrace or downstairs in the main bar.
- Drinks: There are some decent pints of beer and lager available at the bar. The usual’s i.e. wine and spirits can also be bought. There is a waiter service thus you can sit and relax on the terrace during the late afternoons and enjoy the great views of the beach and people that only Cap village can possibly offer.
