Clover Spa clothing-optional facilities

Introduction to Clover Clothing-Optional Spa

It is not easy to be a naturist and to find somewhere in the UK which offers high-quality service but also, Clover Spa in Birmingham fills a void for those of you in need of some clothing-optional sauna time.

Unlike many German, Dutch and Swedish saunas, many spas and saunas in the UK expect you to keep some clothing on.

Although only quite small, there is a very good atmosphere here and its set up is such that it is easy to meet and chat with others, and a great place for a weekend getaway.

The spa is run by owner Tim Higgs and is open to all naturists, although they also do special couples-only weekends once a month.

Tim is an extremely friendly and welcoming host and the hotel facilities include:

  • Steam room.
  • Hot tub area.
  • Wellness treatment rooms (you can book a massage, waxing, grooming and a range of holistic treatments).
  • A garden area to relax (and a huge chessboard in the garden).

This is a respectable naturist location in that the standards are high with professional wellness staff, i.e. this is not a seedy venue but one in which you can feel comfortable and feel safe, pampered and relaxed.

If you are new to naturism this is also perhaps a very good first place to go because it is a very relaxed location and, with only 7 rooms for guests to stay, you are not overwhelmed with too many people.

You can buy drinks, juices, snacks and meals at the hotel and all in my view are reasonably priced.

Location of Clover Spa

The spa hotel is close to Birmingham centre, i.e. only a 10 minutes or so drive and great for attractions such as Cadbury’s World, the National Sea Life Centre and the Wildlife Conservation Park.

Combining visiting some of these excellent local attractions with a stay in the spa, so that you can enjoy the Jacuzzi and hot tub and some time in the sauna in the evening, makes for a powerful combination.

User Experiences for Clover Spa

Paddy and Jane (Bristol)

A great location, because we wanted to visit the Sea Life Centre and some of the museums in Birmingham and got to enjoy the evenings in the sauna too.

The room we had was very clean as were all of the facilities. Tim was extremely helpful and we definitely intend to stay again in the future.

A fair price considering the facilities and the food fairly good.

Sophia and Paul (Sydney)

Went there for 3 nights and loved it. Good location if you are driving and a nice mix of locals and visitors from afar.

Met a very nice American couple when we were there and we especially loved the outdoor jacuzzi (we got lucky with the British weather)!
