Shopping Facilities in the Naturist Village

There are four shopping centers in the naturist village and together they sell groceries, souvenirs, clothing, and beach products, and just about everything else you can imagine.

5 Bars Worth Trying for Drinking in Cap d’Agde Naturist Resort

The village is truly self-contained in that there really is all you will need available and this certainly also includes places to have a nice afternoon glass of wine or a few beers in the evening.

There are dozens of bars, pubs, and places to drink in the resort, including on the beach.

Nightlife and Nightclubs

The nightlife in the naturist quarter is not really suitable for families, with many bars and lounges only letting in ‘Couples Only’.

The main areas for nightlife in Cap d’Agde are the:

• Port Nature building (which has a row of bars and erotic clothes shops that becomes crowded in the evenings, with people dressed in all types of unusual gear). Melrose Cafe bar is one of the main ones you might end up visiting, and this bar has a dancing platform, with many customers and barmaids often dancing on the tabletops. The crowd in the Melrose is usually a mix of both men and women.
• Port Ambonne – there are half a dozen clubs and bars in Port Ambonne, just across the road from Melrose Cafe. You will also find the saunas in Port Ambonne.

Restaurants and Place to Eat

There are plenty of restaurants and places to eat in the naturist resort with a couple of dozen options.

You also have the option of self-catering and if at the campsite, you can BBQ.

The cuisine in the resort is not perhaps the very best in French cuisine, but the restaurants offer food which is not bad and this is not a resort you tend to visit mainly for its food but for its lifestyle.

Cap d’Agde Beach

The beach is a mile and a quarter long, up to 100 yards wide, and kept in very good condition.

In front of Port Nature and Heliopolis, there are restaurants, bars, and cafes with steps leading down to the beach.

You can hire sunbeds and parasols in this part of the beach.

The beach is an experience of a lifetime because it holds tens of thousands of naked people on a sunny day.

Those who want to show off walk up and down along the shoreline or disport themselves on the adult beach.

Here there is the intense feeling of being watched, as couples eye each other up for later.

Couples often meet new friends on the beach and go off together for drinks, something to eat, and some fun.

However, this is a lot easier if one of you speaks French or German because almost all the conversation is in these languages.

One of the main buildings in the resort is the Port Nature building and here you will find many of the best bars, restaurants, and nightlife.
