FAMILIES at Cap d'Agde naturism resort in France:
Cap d'Agde nudist village/resort in France attracts a mixture of all types of naturist and nudists. Because of the size of this large self-contained nudist village (which attracts up to 40,000 people at any given time), genuine naturist enjoy the excellent beach, large camping area, excellent resort facilities and swimming pools etc. The nightlife is perhaps more aimed at couples. Do NOT though, let this put you off from visiting Cap d'Agde naturist village. There are excellent facilities on this resort and plenty to satisfy the needs of families and you will only experience what some may consider the seedier side of Cap d'Agde naturist village, if you go seeking it.

Many family naturists DO regularly visit Cap d'Agde and many often stay in the camping area, which is far quieter at night than some parts of the apartment building areas.

EATING OUT, DRINKING and CLUBS:
Many of the restaurants are attached to the clubs and offer packages for meal and club entrance. These are not really suitable for families. Many families tend to stay in the camping area where it is quieter and more orientated towards activities for children in the daytime and early evening. There are several restaurants though in areas such as the Port Nature building, the Héliopolis and Port Ambonne building.

For drinking there are a dozen plus bars and several clubs, thus you will have no problem at all finding somewhere to drink.

Nightclubs at Cap d'Agde:
A lot of people do go to Cap d'Agde for the nightlife, in addition to the beach and facilities. There are various night clubs and saunas within the clothing-optional village actually in the complex itself. These clubs and saunas are 'Le Tantra', 'Le Glamour', 'Le Jules', 'Le Pharon', 'Nat Hammam' and '2et2'.

Le Tantra (Port Nature building)
Le Tantra is the club which opens the latest of all the clubs, opening as a nightclub at around 11pm (entrance is at the bottom - not at pool level). The cost is approx €36 a couple (check the price first) and to save money you can buy a bottle of liquor and the staff will write your name on the bottle, and you have up to a week to drink it.

LE Glamour (Heliopolis building)
Le Glamour is one of the biggest clubs in the resort. This club is joined to 'La Ville Restaurant' which is located just in front of the beach. Le Glamour is a popular club, with dance floor, 3 bars, restaurant (The price of dinner includes club entrance fee) and a few rooms which you can move around in.

This club is fairly expensive at roughly €35 with two free drinks (check before entering). There are fun rooms on the lower level. This club can often be crowded and popular. Certainly worth visiting.

Le Jules (Port Nature building)
This is a couples only club which offers (dinner+club entrance) or (club entrance only). Located in Port Nature and underneath the Waikiki Beach swimming pool, this club is open usually from 11pm to 6am each night through the summer (check times) and costs are roughly €35 (including 2 drinks) or €45 (with 6 drinks).

The club is quiote small and rooms quite small (compared to Le Glamour).

OUTSIDE THE RESORT:
Cap d'Agde has a number of restaurants and bars and for this reason, you do not necessarily have to limit yourself to the confines of the naturist village - if you want a change for one night. Having said that, there are several bars and restaurants within the village and thus you may want to make the most of your time in the naturists village. There are arguable better restaurants outside of the naturism village and also perhaps more family orientated places to take children in the evenings. You should though find what you require within the resort.

DRESS CODE:
The naturists resort is a place where you can be without clothes 24 hours a day and on the camp site people do so often. Most people though do get dressed in the evening as they go off to the bars and clubs within the resort.

You could if you wanted, wear nothing and go to the bars and restaurants but you might feel out of place because most other people wear clothes in the evenings. You will always see one of two people still dressed in their birthday suits at night, but not many (except for on the camp site).

It can actually be a lot of fun seeing what people wear in the evenings because some people, particularly the women, wear some unsual and interesting outfits. These outfits are sometimes designed such that you can see pretty much all the person has to offer.
