Cap d'Agde Nightlife and clubs
The nightlife in the naturist quarter is not really suitable for families, with many bars and lounges only letting in 'Couples Only'. For a full list of clubs and bars etc visit out nightlife page.
The main area for nightlife in Cap d'Agde is the Port Nature building, which has a row of bars and sexy clothes shops that becomes crowded in the evenings, with people dressed in all types of unusual gear. Melrose, bar/club is one of the main ones you might end up visiting, and this bar has a dancing platform, with many customers and barmaids often stripping and dancing on the tabletops. The crowd in the Melrose are usually a mix of both men and women.
Cap d'Agde beach
Cap d'Agde's naturist beach is a mile and a
quarter long, up to 100 yards wide and kept in very good condition.
In front of Port Nature and Heliopolis there are restaurants,
bars and cafes with steps leading down to the beach. You can
hire
sun
beds and parasols in this part of the beach. The beach is an
experience of a lifetime because it holds tens of thousands
of bottom-less people on a sunny day. Those who want to show
off walk up and down along the shoreline or disport themselves
on the adult beach. Here there is the intense feeling of being
watched, as couples eye each other up for later. Couples often
meet new friends on the beach and go off together for drinks,
something to eat and some fun. However, this is a lot easier
if one of you speaks French or German because almost all the
conversation is in these languages.
