Bars, pubs & drinking at Cap d'Agde (Johnny Wokkers & Melrose Cafe)
Introduction the pubs and bars
There are a number of bars inside the resort and from year to year some new ones open and some close. There are always though plenty of places to get a beer or glass of wine in the evenings and some with live music and live entertainment.
Two of the most popular bars are Johnny Wokkers and Melrose Cafe. A look at these below:
Johnny Wokkers
Located in the Port Nature building at Cap d'Agde, Johnny Wokkers (often misspelt online as Johny Wokkers) is a very popular place for English speaking visitors to Cap d'Agde to go for a few drinks. The bar is not that big but it is an English bar where you can have a drink and speak English and meet other English speakers and it is a close to the sea air. The location is at the end of the Port Nature building close to the beach and kind of underneath the tunnel which leads to the beach.

Cap D' Agde).
Melrose Cafe
Another popular haunt and one which you will also almost certainly walk past at least once, if you visit Cap d'Agde and go out on the evenings, is Melrose Café (also in the Port Nature building). You will often see live entertainment in this bar and it often gets crowded. There is no entrance fee and this is a common place for people to watch the crowds as they walk past outside, with this bar beside one of the main entrances on the side of the Port Nature building.
