Sweden and Swedish Naturist holiday travel
5 Places for Swedish Naturism - Sweden Profile
Naturism, although sometimes controversial, is a thriving international culture. For obvious reasons naturists cannot flaunt their skin wherever they like, so in most countries there are specialised areas or arranged meeting places where naturists can express their freedom together. Sweden is relatively open-minded towards naturism and below is a brief guide to some of the best naturist travel spots in Sweden:
1.Agesta Beach, Stockholm
Ideally located in the nation’s capital, this official naturist beach offers good public facilities. The bonus is that you are only a stones throw from the city centre.
2. Mollon Peninsular, Uddevala
Located on Sweden’s west coast, Mollon Peninsular is not officially a naturist beach, although
naturism is commonly accepted and widely practiced. Be careful not to venture onto the clothes-only section of the beach though.
3. Sabytrask Beach, Vaxholm
One of the more scenic naturist options in Sweden, this beach is located next to a small lake and there are no public facilties.
4. Herrfallet Beach, Arboga
Located in the south of Sweden, Herrfallet beach is pleasantly sandy which, together with the good public facilities, make it a popular destination for naturists in Sweden. Located approximately 150km away from Stockholm.
5. Tullan Beach, Södertälje / Stockholm
This is one of the rockier naturist beaches in Sweden, but its location only 30 minutes away from Stockholm makes it perfect for those who wish to escape the city for a while. The naturist beach is joined to a clothes-only beach, so be careful to respect the boundaries.
