France is a naturist’s paradise and boasts a large number of beaches as well as holiday resorts that are open to the idea of naturism. This article lists the top five places in the country for nudists and naturists to visit.
1. Cap d’Agde – This wonderful seaside resort is considered by many to be the naturist’s capital of the world. The naturist quarter in the town is wholly self-sufficient, with a variety of shops, yacht harbours and restaurants in the area, which makes it a popular vacation destination among nudists from around the world.
2. Aquitaine – This town is another favourite among naturists, where they get to enjoy a picturesque seaside retreat. It is located on the Atlantic coast and offers naturists a number of different activities to participate in; there are 13 naturist centres in the region.
3. Creuse Nature – Creuse Nature is a famous nudist campsite which is located in central France in the Limousin region. The place enjoys excellent weather, and offers its visitors great facilities like a sauna and swimming pool, not to mention several activities to participate in.
4. Domaine de la Gagère - The Domaine de la Gagere is a naturist camp with four star facilities that is located in the region of Burgundy. This camp started out as a small facility in the 90s and is now one of the most popular naturist destinations in France.
5. Mas de Nadal – This naturist campsite is located right in the middle of the Parc Régional des Causses du Quercy. It is a wonderful retreat from the stress of everyday life.
